Single Vision Lenses

Best for: One distance, done exceptionally well

Single vision lenses are designed for one focal range - distance, intermediate or near. Near lenses are typically set around 40cm, while intermediate lenses sit between 80–100cm, depending on your needs. Your Optometrist determines the exact prescription.

They’re ideal if:
• You only need help seeing far away or close up
• You’re under 40 and don’t yet need reading support
• You prefer a simple, affordable option

Think of them as one job, done beautifully.

Why we use ZEISS ClearView

ZEISS ClearView lenses elevate what single vision can be.

• Aspheric design - naturally thinner and flatter, especially beneficial for higher prescriptions
• Digitally surfaced – engineered with up to 400 micro-optimised points of clarity across the lens
• Consistent clarity across more of the surface – unlike traditional single vision lenses that have one central sweet spot

The result? Clear, comfortable vision across more of the lens, not just straight ahead.

Anti-Fatigue (Digital / “Boost”) Lenses

Best for: Early presbyopia & screen-heavy days

These lenses look like single vision, but with a subtle boost at the bottom to support near tasks. The top remains your full distance prescription.

They’re great if:
• Your eyes feel tired by the end of the day
• You get headaches from screen use
• You’re starting to notice near strain (often late 30s-early 40s)

Think of them as single vision with extra support for modern life.

Why we use ZEISS Digital Lenses

ZEISS Digital lenses are designed for today’s visual behaviour.

• Optimised for extended screen and device use
• Large, stable distance zone for all-day clarity
• Seamless adaptation into future progressive wear

They provide subtle support without compromising the clean look of a single vision lens.

Occupational Lenses

Best for: Work & computer environments

Occupational lenses are designed specifically for indoor and office tasks.
• Distance focal point can be set anywhere from 1–4 metres
• Intermediate zone positioned at pupil height for comfortable computer viewing
• Reading support at the bottom

They’re ideal if:
• You work at a computer most of the day
• You constantly tilt your head to find the “sweet spot” in progressives
• You already wear progressives but struggle at work

Important: These are not everyday lenses - they’re purpose-built for productivity.

Why we prefer ZEISS Office Individual

ZEISS Office Individual lenses are fully customised to how and where you work.

• Tailored specifically for computer-only or full office environments
• Suitable for any indoor task, not strictly desk-based
• Exceptionally wide fields of view for relaxed posture and natural movement

They’re productivity lenses, designed to reduce strain and improve comfort throughout your day.

Progressive Lenses

Best for: Distance, intermediate & near - all in one

Progressive lenses provide a smooth transition between distances:

Top = distance
Middle = computer
Bottom = reading

There are no visible lines - the prescription gradually changes as your eyes move down the lens.

They’re ideal if:
• You’re over 40 and need help at multiple distances
• You want one pair of glasses for everything
• You prefer a seamless look

They can take a little time to adapt to, but most wearers love the convenience once settled.

Why we choose ZEISS Individual Progressives

ZEISS Individual lenses are among the most advanced progressive designs available.

• Fully customisable with lifestyle-specific designs
• Age-based modelling predicts natural eye movement patterns
• ZEISS FrameFit Technology adjusts corridor length to suit your chosen frame
• Wide, stable fields of view

ZEISS describes this level of tailoring as “precision personalised vision” - and we see the difference every day in wearer comfort.

Bifocal Lenses

Best for: Distance + reading

Bifocals have two clearly defined prescription areas:

Top = distance
Bottom = reading

There’s a visible line separating the two zones.

They’re helpful if:
• You need help seeing far away and up close
• You prefer a straightforward solution
• You don’t mind the visible division

Some people notice the visual “jump” between sections, but for many, bifocals remain a simple and effective choice.

Think of them as two lenses in one, clearly defined.
